Nice little cafe nestled in a small row of shops in St Andrews, a perfect stop for a quick brunch. And they really are quick, which is a welcome change from the usual wait. We were served our food in less than 15 minutes, and it tasted freshly-made, no corners cut – hats off to the staff there.
My brioche french toast with maple syrup, caramelized banana and bacon was good, though I personally prefer my bacon streaky and crispy instead. The boy’s steak sandwich was mostly just average, though – and we weren’t really fans of bottled ketchup served with it either.
All in all, a decent place with the standard options for brunch and lunch, very quick service, and reasonably well-prepared food. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but I would definitely drop by again if I happen to be in the area and hungry.
