One of the better Korean restaurants in the Tron. We haven’t tried their BBQ (which looks fairly expensive), but we’ve ordered several of their traditional Korean dishes, and all have been pretty satisfactory. The soft tofu stew with hot chili paste is one of our favourites, and the honey soy chicken, beef bulgogi, and chicken soup are all decent.
Their side dishes are fewer in number than the norm (they only give 4), but they make up for it with quality in my opinion. Their pancake side dish is almost as good as Il Mee‘s! The veggies stir fried in garlic are good as well, as is the fried soya strips, but the other dish can be a bit hit or miss.
Don’t expect quick service if the place is even remotely full though. Can’t really blame them as they don’t have a lot of staff – it’s run by an older Korean couple, and it appears to be mostly just the two of them with one waiter (from our observation). They’re sweet folks, however, and gave us a pass when we accidentally knocked down one of their decorations (oops!).
We come here on a semi-regular basis, and will probably return when the Korean food craving arises.
